The new year is here and we're not wasting any time getting our projects and partners up and running this month.
We are pleased to announce:
We are working with Julie's Bicycle and Vision 2025 to deliver an ACE funded national pilot with 10 local authorities to test improved (and consistent) licensing standards via the Green Events Code of Practice and Attitude is Everything Charter
We are supporting Attitude is Everything with the development of their newly revised Charter of Best Practice
We are working with Outdoor Arts UK to explore how to help their network share sustainability and accessibility best practice.
Following some great sessions with the Barnwood Trust last year, we will be following up with the National Arboretum at Westonbirt to work on accessible provisions for neurodivergent customers and more in 2024
We are exploring neurodivergent and accessible provisions with the team at Young Gloucestershire - a wonderful local organisation who I was delighted to receive the 'Young Person of Gloucestershire' award back in 2006
Andrew has joined the Zig Zag Mentoring scheme with Inclusion Gloucestershire to help support and mentor neurodivergent adults with late-life diagnoses.
Andrew is currently writing a chapter for Contemporary Issues In Events which is due to be published by Goodfellow in late 2024
If that isn't enough (!) we have a whole host of other announcements to come in February, including:
The launch of our consultancy roster
Confirmation of speaking/panel appearances for Q1, having already announced this years AFO Conference on February 10th
An updated website with new people and products to explore
Announcing our second round of clients and projects in Spring 2024, which will included a major UK festival AND national sporting body...
