Another “this is holiday time for me now” post, before I head off to Boston for a week to speak at Berklee and have meetings at MIT.

Otherwise my PhD downtime will be spent completing the last elements of platform design for an EU Commision project that is being delivered across 26 countries for the next four years:

As a warm up for my PhD I've been working with the mighty Vick Bain and IMPALA to standardise and specialise approaches to EDI reporting and training across 6,000 music organisations in the EU.

Also I'll be spending the week recovering from the launch of another project that I had been working on for the past two years: UnMute - an artist roster exclusively for disabled musicians and performers. Ended up in The Guardian, so my inbox was on fire again last week:

Nice to get some big ones out in the world, one of the biggest struggles I've faced in the first six months of my PhD has been consolidating existing projects and networks whilst simultaneously putting various career and consultancy commitments on hold until my studies are complete - so this past month has felt like weights are being lifted from shoulders all over the place - finally!
