Okay, I’m going to give diary form another go – but this time my aim is to keep it under 200 words. Let’s see how we get on shall we?

MONDAY

The week started with a meeting with Jane and Nick at Ecotricity Business, where we discussed plans for decarbonising Liverpool’s energy supply for cultural events and festivals entirely. When the UNAC findings come out, I’m pretty sure energy will be towards the top of the list – so this feels like a good conversation to continue as it feels like we’ll need to hit the ground running once permission is secured from the council to start implementing some changes.

Handy it was then that my afternoon was filled with time with the Liverpool City Region Sustainability Task & Finish Group, where we agreed energy as a priority focus, with waste and travel to follow.

The day finished with a call with the Canadians, as research I was previously involved with continues to progress as we build plans for share back later this year.

TUESDAY

Tuesdays are still my regular teaching day until I run out my commitments in May. None the less I managed to squeeze in a quick GECoP workshop and Accessing Conferences talk for the Attitude is Everything artist and professional networks.

WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday I went to London to attend the launch of the Show Must Go On Report at the Houses of Parliament. Nice canapes on the Thames, good chat with some MPs, and a new wooden spoon for the kitchen secured from the HoP gift shop.

Also I wrote two sections of the report – so lovely to see this out in the world finally!

THURSDAY

Today was the soft launch of the UnMute roster at Hoxton Hall in London. I am the creative director so travelled down to watch RightsKeysOnly perform. This was a good commuting day, so I got to catch up on all my research reading and podcast listening.

FRIDAY

I took Friday off, because did you see how much I did this week?

342 words. Getting better. Kind of.
